Week 15 Waiver Adds

It’s time for the fantasy playoffs, and whether you’re in the hunt for a title, or looking to avoid a forfeit, every decision is crucial from here on. My “Starts, Sits, and Streamers” article will be published on Friday, but for now, here are my priority waiver adds for this week.

Shedeur Sanders, QB, Cleveland Browns

Shedeur Sanders came out slinging in Week 14, passing for 364 yards and three scores on the Titans in a 31-29 defeat. He is risky in Week 15 because the sample size is still thin. However, even if you haven’t seen enough to start him this week, continued improvement would make him a good bet for Week 17.

In fantasy championship week, Shedeur takes on a Steelers defense that has been bleeding passing yards this season. If you have the room, he is a solid stash, with potential Week 15 relevance if you’re brave enough.

Chris Rodriguez, RB, Washington Commanders

Chris Rodriguez has become the clear lead rusher in Washington, but that hasn’t meant much with the team playing from behind in recent weeks. Jeremy McNichols will continue to handle receiving work, but Rodriguez should continue to lead the team in carries and handle goal-line work.

A Week 15 matchup with the New York Giants should see him put things right. The Giants have allowed a massive 5.8 yards per carry this season, the most of any team in the NFL.

Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Cleveland Browns

Harold Fannin Jr. is continuing to build on his promising rookie season, and tallied eight grabs on 11 targets for 114 yards and a touchdown against Tennessee on Sunday.

Fannin has caught a touchdown in each of his last two games, making the upcoming matchup with Chicago is another spot ripe for fantasy output. The Bears gave up three passing touchdowns to the Packers last time out and Fannin is a big-bodied weapon around the end zone.

Like Sanders, he also gets Pittsburgh in Week 17, giving him two great opportunities to make a splash in the fantasy playoffs.

Isaiah Likely, TE, Baltimore Ravens

After being quiet for most of the season, Isaiah Likely has now strung together back-to-back weeks of six targets and double-digit fantasy production. He would have had touchdowns in each game too, if not for his goal-line fumble in Week 13.

The hot streak should continue against Cincinnati, a defense that currently sits second in passing yards allowed per game this year (254.9). Likely is operating as a full-time weapon in a passing game that needs him, and that combination of volume and matchup puts him firmly in contention for a start in Week 15.

Injury Stashes

There are three players on waivers this week who could be in for massive fantasy production if their teammate were to miss time. Ryan Flournoy and Jaylen Wright would both become must-start flex options at receiver and running back, respectively, but could both also be unusable.

CeeDee Lamb (concussion) and De’Von Achane (ribs) both left Week 15 early, and Flournoy (9/13, 115, TD) and Wright (24, 107, TD) took advantage. Both Lamb and Achane are in contention to return for this week’s games, but both backups are worth a speculative waiver bid if you have budget to spare.

Elsewhere, Blake Corum remains the most valuable handcuff n fantasy. The Los Angeles Rams runner continues to see extra work when the Rams pull away from their opposition, and continues to impress with the opportunities.

The Rams face, Detroit, Seattle, and Atlanta in the next three weeks, though, so those opportunities might be harder to come by. Either way, Corum should be rostered in every league, as he’d be a potential league-winner if Kyren Williams were to miss time.

That’s all for this week’s waiver adds. If your league rosters defenses, you can find my recent breakdown of the top available defenses for the fantasy playoffs here.
