For many, Week 14 of the NFL season is make-or-break. Fantasy managers everywhere will sneak into the fantasy playoffs with a win this week, while others will have their season ended by a crushing loss.
In most leagues, the ability to make trades ended a number of weeks ago, but for those still able to do deals, my weekly buy-low/sell-high article for PFSN is available here.
For everyone else, here are my priority waiver adds for Week 14.
Week 14 Waiver Adds: Chris Rodriguez, RB, Washington Commanders

Chris Rodriguez has emerged as the Washington Commanders’ lead back over the last few weeks. Previously yo-yoing between the practice squad and a rotational role, the former Kentucky standout is now a feature of the team’s offense.
Against an elite Denver Broncos defense on Sunday night, the bruising back tallied 41 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Jeremy McNichols is the team’s preferred receiving back, limiting Rodriguez’s ceiling, but the latter’s goal-line usage makes him a weekly flex play if needed.
Devin Singletary, RB, New York Giants
The New York Giants are on bye this week, and Devin Singletary still finds himself locked in a timeshare with Tyrone Tracy Jr. However, the veteran significantly outproduced his younger teammate on Monday night.
Singletary rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries, and caught all three of his targets for 34 yards. He’ll be harder to trust than Rodriguez, but playable running backs are rarely available on waivers.
Blake Corum, RB, Los Angeles Rams
If you have a roster-clogger or two on your bench, you should be replacing them with Blake Corum. The Rams have some tough matchups in the weeks ahead, but Corum’s upside would go through the roof if Kyren Williams were to get injured.
Corum has done enough with his opportunities to spark talk of a takeover, but he is still playing second fiddle to Williams for now. That didn’t prevent him tallying 81 yards and a score on just seven carries against Carolina on Sunday, and he is one to watch in the coming weeks.
Adonai Mitchell, WR, New York Jets

In my preseason “hot takes” article, I put forward that Adonai MItchell had a chance to finish the year as the Indianapolis Colts’ WR1. Needless to say, I was a little way off there, but I maintain that Mitchell is a massive talent with enormous potential in the NFL.
The Colts receiver room continues to be underrated, and I genuinely believe that Mitchell will flourish with more opportunities. Even his infamous fumble through the end zone in Week 4 came at the end of a phenomenal 75-yard catch and run.
The second-year receiver caught eight of his 12 targets for 102 yards and a score in Week 13, and will need to be similarly efficient moving forward.
Garrett Wilson is eligible to return in Week 15, but Mitchell’s strength is in his explosiveness and ability to get open. With Wilson drawing double coverage, Mitchell should continue to be a factor as the team’s WR2.
Devaughn Vele, WR, New Orleans Saints
I’m not a believer in Tyler Shough, but he is throwing the ball an awful lot and Devaughn Vele has been reaping the rewards. The former Bronco has stepped into the Saints’ WR2 role, which was vacated by Rashid Shaheed.
Vele caught all eight of his targets for 93 yards and a touchdown in Week 13 (WR7 overall), and now has 15 targets in two games since the team’s Week 11 bye.
Isaac TeSlaa, WR, Detroit Lions
If you’re desperate at receiver this week, and can’t get your hands on Mitchell or Vele, Isaac TeSlaa could prove an ideal one-week rental on Thursday night. The Detroit Lions take on the Dallas Cowboys, and Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta, and Khalif Raymond are all sidelined.
Jameson Williams is the potential WR1 overall this week, but TeSlaa could put up flex-worthy points in a supporting role. The third-round rookie caught both of his targets for 35 yards and a touchdown against Green Bay on Thanksgiving day, but should be busier against the Cowboys.
Dallas has allowed 251.5 passing yards per game this season, the third-most in the NFL. Meanwhile, the Lions’ injury-hit defense is likely to struggle against Dallas’ passing attack, giving this game massive shootout potential.
That’s it for this week’s waiver targets, I’ll be back on Thursday with my starts and sits, as well as my weekly streamers article for PFSN.
