Seven bets I’m making this Conference Championship weekend.

Sunday is almost here and it won’t be long before we find out which teams will be facing off in the Super Bowl come February ninth.
The Chiefs and Eagles are the two teams expected to make it, but both the Bills and Commanders are more than capable of defeating the odds and making it to the big game.
This week, I’ve backed three players in each game while also being drawn to an under in the Bills-Chiefs match-up.
Commanders @ Eagles
3pm ET Spread: Eagles -6

The Commanders and Eagles traded wins during the regular season. First, the Eagles rallied to earn a second-half comeback win in Philadelphia in week 11, before Washington overcame a Kenny-Pickett-led Eagles in week 16.
Barring injury, there will be no Kenny Pickett this time around, though Jalen Hurts may be limited on the ground due to a knee injury. Regardless, the Eagles have enough running power in Saquon Barkley alone. The former Giant has amassed 324 rushing yards in the Eagles’ two playoff games so far.
On the Washington side, Jayden Daniels already looks like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL despite his youth. Daniels’ composure, throwing accuracy and breakaway running ability have got the Commanders to where they are. The absence of starting offensive lineman Sam Cosmi though, who tore his ACL last week, may lead to problems for the rookie.
A huge performance against Detroit last week means Washington can’t be ruled out, but the safe money is with Philadelphia.
Player Bets for Commanders @ Eagles
Washington has allowed 6.3 rushing yards/attempt over their two playoff games so far. Barkley is coming off a 205 yard, two touchdown game on the ground vs the Rams.
Saquon Barkley over 126.5 rushing yards 10/11
Add: Saquon Barkley anytime touchdown 29/20
Zach Ertz has five or more receptions in three of his last four games, scoring four touchdowns in the process.
Zach Ertz 5+ receptions 8/5
Add: Zach Ertz anytime touchdown 23/4
Or: Zach Ertz 4+ receptions and anytime touchdown 4/1
Dallas Goedert has four receptions in three-straight games since returning from injury, amassing 55, 47 and 56 yards in those games. Barkley caught four of four targets for 27 yards last weekend.
Dallas Goedert over 40.5 receiving yards 10/11
Add: Saquon Barkley over 12.5 receiving yards 13/5
Bills @ Chiefs
6.30pm ET Spread: Chiefs -1.5

Having overcome the Baltimore Ravens last weekend, it almost feels as though Josh Allen and the Bills are representing the rest of the NFL when they face the Chiefs on Sunday. Patriots, Jets and Dolphins fans probably wouldn’t agree with that, but at what point are the Chiefs just making everyone else look bad?
I’m all for witnessing greatness, I feel blessed to have been around to see Brady, Messi, Federer, Woods and others. But the automatic nature of the Chiefs, the fact that it feels like they’ve been waiting in the AFC Championship game since September, does take some excitement away for me.
I wrote a piece this week on “flopping” and it’s potentially disastrous impact on the NFL if not stopped. And while I maintain that the Texans gave themselves no platform to argue from last weekend, Mahomes’ antics are definitely taking some of the shine away from the incredible player he is.
Also in that article was my case for Josh Allen to win MVP this year. I won’t go over it again, it’s here if you’d like to read it, but I would love to see him win it all in February. I can’t look past the Chiefs in a one-score game however, so the Bills will need to be aggressive and dominate to progress this weekend.
Player Bets for Bills @ Chiefs
Travis Kelce has taken off in his last two games. After going 8/11 for 84 yards and a touchdown in week 17, he caught seven of eight for 117 and a score last weekend.
Travis Kelce over 69.5 receiving yards 10/11
Add: Travis Kelce anytime touchdown 21/20
Isiah Pacheco’s snap-share and carries have gone down in four consecutive weeks. Pacheco carried five times for 18 yards last weekend and hasn’t topped 9 carries or 26 yards since week 15.
Isiah Pacheco under 31.5 rushing yards 10/11
Add: Isiah Pacheco under 8.5 rush attempts 33/20
James Cook has at least 67 rushing yards in seven of his last eight games with over ten rush attempts. The Chiefs allowed 5.1 yards/carry vs Houston last week. Cook has 40 carries over two playoff games so far.
James Cook over 56.5 rushing yards 10/11
Ray Davis has shown ability when given an opportunity this season. Last week, despite Cook receiving most of the rushing work, Davis and Ty Johnson were both afforded carries vs Baltimore. If the Bills rotate Davis in again, he should hit this week’s prop comfortably.
Ray Davis over 9.5 rushing yards 20/21
Or: Ray Davis 20+ rushing yards 7/2
That’s me done for the week. Wherever you are, enjoy the games on Sunday and if you’re betting , please do so responsibly.
